Survivor Resource Network (SRN) is proud to offer our Medusa t-shirt, aimed at sparking dialogue about justice, accountability, and the role of everyone in believing survivors.
The Medusa myth has long been misunderstood as a story of punishment for a woman wronged. In reality, Medusa represents the long history of silencing survivors while enabling systems of power to go unchecked.
Medusa’s transformation into a monster after being assaulted by Poseidon mirrors the challenges faced by survivors today—punished or stigmatized instead of supported.
By wearing this t-shirt, we invite everyone in the community to join us in reshaping the narrative, standing with survivors, and fostering trust within our communities. Together, we can break down harmful myths and work toward a justice system that truly supports all individuals.
